I wonder if any of these guys are still in the business today, getting ready to a massive replacement of Walmart signage over the next 18 months.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1033289293807518844.post-78164568825665678692008-08-07T12:08:00.000-05:002008-08-07T12:08:00.000-05:00Precisely. :-)Precisely. :-)Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16614544483622019936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1033289293807518844.post-1289746189921341652008-08-07T11:23:00.000-05:002008-08-07T11:23:00.000-05:00LOL! We had a NEW Wal-Mart that looked just like that. We thought it was so clean, so nice, so wonderful, so much better than Kmart. It was. The stigma in middle school about shopping Wal-Mart was not bad like Kmart.Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16614544483622019936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1033289293807518844.post-53352821155851810432008-08-05T22:13:00.000-05:002008-08-05T22:13:00.000-05:00Steven - I've noticed the mix as well. Now that they've settled that, there may be more consistency going forward.

Didi - I kind of like it. It has a (little) bit of a 70's feel to it, and the lighter blue is modern compared to the deep navy shade. I guess they are a bit conservative to jazz it up too much.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07788722183424550052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1033289293807518844.post-72082841516285835682008-08-04T09:14:00.000-05:002008-08-04T09:14:00.000-05:00I've seen the new logo and I am not impressed. In my area alone they're pushing at least five different decor packages, ranging from slightly updated late '90s to a new version with bright wall colors, curved shelving and giant department signs. For a company that prided themselves on rigid uniformity, this is an interesting development.Livemallshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01567198484359363455noreply@blogger.com
